Q Describe the main findings of your research article from the research article assignment and then explain why you found this article either interesting or important. In other words, why did you choose it? What did you learn?
The article that I chose is “Correlates of Social Functioning in Autism Spectrum Disorder: The Role of Social Cognition” by Fitzpatrick, et al., (2016). This article aimed at observing the role and influence of social cognition and motor functions in the challenges faced by the individuals in performing the common social functioning who are living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The main findings of the research were that social cognition has a role in determining the challenges faced by people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
